Citrine
Citrine is a warm yellow to golden-orange variety of quartz admired for its bright, sunny colour. Its name comes from the French word “citron,” meaning “lemon,” reflecting its citrus-like shades that range from pale yellow to deep amber.
Historically, citrine has been valued as a decorative gemstone for thousands of years. In crystal traditions it is often called the “stone of abundance” or “merchant’s stone,” believed to attract prosperity, positivity, and success. While these beliefs are cultural rather than scientific, they contribute to the stone’s popularity in jewellery and decorative items.
