Aquamarine
Aquamarine is a pale blue to blue-green gemstone that belongs to the beryl mineral family, the same group that includes emerald. Its name comes from the Latin words “aqua” (water) and “marina” (sea), meaning “water of the sea,” which perfectly describes its clear ocean-like colour.
Historically, aquamarine has been associated with the sea and was believed by ancient sailors to protect them during ocean voyages and bring calm waters. In modern crystal traditions, it is often linked with calmness, courage, clear communication, and emotional balance.
